Biography

Mr. Layman has served as the Chief Legal Officer of Momentus since February 2025. Prior to joining Momentus, Mr. Layman served as the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Operations for The ON Platform Inc. from February 2024 through July 2024 and as the General Partner, Operating Partner, and General Counsel of Prime Movers Lab LLC from January 2021 through August 2022. He has also served as the Principal Member of Layman Strategic Advisory since September 2022. Mr. Layman also previously served as a Partner at Hogan Lovells US LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC. Mr. Layman received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
